What types of anesthesia are used at S-Clinic?
General (narcosis), local, and regional anesthesia. The type is chosen by the anesthesiologist based on surgery type, patient condition, and preferences.
Is an anesthesiologist consultation required before surgery?
Yes, mandatory. The anesthesiologist evaluates health status, test results, allergy history, and selects the optimal anesthesia method. The consultation takes place 1–3 days before surgery.
What tests are needed before anesthesia?
Complete blood count, coagulogram, ECG, blood type and Rh factor. If needed, blood biochemistry, chest X-ray. The full list is provided by the surgeon or anesthesiologist.
Is anesthesia safe for children?
Yes. Modern general anesthesia drugs are safe for children. Our anesthesiologist has experience with pediatric patients, particularly in adenotomy and ENT surgeries.
